Rectangular gold mounted silver case with black champleve lacquer decoration, carved rose quartz side mounts and winding crown, black onyx base and ebonised fruitwood plinth. Frosted and gilt dial with champleve lacquered floral centre, applied black enamel Deco-style Arabic hour chapters. Enamelled gold "chinoiserie" hands. Circular nickel-finished 13"' Astral movement with 17 jewels and eight adjustments. Straight-line lever escapement with cut bimetallic balance. Breguet balance spring. Signed on movement and dial. Stamped with mark of Verger and V&C on case and base. Gübelin under onyx base. In excellent condition. Dim. 12.7 x 11.8 x 6.2 cm.
