Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No.342746, case No.209244, circa 1915. Very fine and small 18 ct. gold hunting cased keyless watch with minute-repeating, moon phase, astronomical perpetual calendar and split seconds chronograph with 60- minute recorder.

C. Four body, massive, "bassine", with indented hinges. Gold cuvette. D. Matt silver, Breguet numerals, outer minute and chronograph rings, subsidiary dials for week days, months with leap year cycle, outer minute register, date and seconds with inner moon phase aperture, with calendar on the edge. Gold "spade" hands with blued-steel split and minute counter. M. 18", nickelled with "fausse côtes" decoration, gilt wheel train, 35 jewels, counterpoised adjustable lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet spring with swan-neck index, repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Visible split seconds chronograph work with push pieces for both functions in the band. Signed on case and movement. In excellent condition. Diam. 52mm.
