?Malachite & Platinum? Mauboussin, France, No. 1056. Made in the 1930s. Very fine, rare and unusual, keyless, platinum, malachite and ruby, Art Deco dress watch. Movement by Vacheron Constantin.
C. Malachite case accented to either side with platinum and cabochon ruby segments, platinum bezel with Arabic numerals, cabochon ruby-set winding crown. D. Matte silver with Arabic markers and minute track. Blued steel ?Breguet? hands. M. Cal. 16???, nickel, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, Breguet balance spring. Diam. 49 mm.
