Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 436014, case No. 285935. Made in circa 1939. Very fine and rare, rectangular, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch.
C. Two-body, solid, polished, fluted teardrop lugs, flat top crystal. D. Matte silver with applied yellow gold Roman numerals and round indexes, subsidiary seconds dial. Yellow gold baton hands. M. 435-2C, rhodium-plated, "fausses cìtes" decoration, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperatures, blued steel Breguet balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 22 x 40 mm.
