?Montre à Volets? Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, movement No. 414851, delivered in 1930. Case by Verger Frères, No. 12782. Extremely rare and fine, square, 18K white and yellow gold Art Deco ?montre à volets? wristwatch with two crowns, a dial concealed by shutters, and an 18K yellow gold buckle.

Three-body, two-tone, solid, polished and brushed, case back with screws, stylized black enamel ?cubiste? numerals and triangular indexes on the white gold bezel, yellow gold band and winding-crowns, yellow gold shutters opening by the means of a crown at 9 o'clock, winder at 9 o'clock. (French patent No. FR 691683). D. Silver, with painted black minute track. Blued steel "épée" hands. M. Cal. R.A. 9??? 94, rhodium-plated, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement,cut bimetallic balance adjusted to five positions, blued steel flat balance-spring. Dial and movement signed, numbered and stamped on the case. Dim. 27 x 27 mm. Thickness: 7.5 mm.
