Ref. 4072, ?Yellow Gold Chronograph? Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 446391, case No. 291790, Ref. 4072. Made in 1946. Very fine and rare, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with square button chronograph, register and an 18K yellow gold Vacheron & Constantin buckle.

C. Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, rounded bezel, concave lugs. D. Brushed silver with applied yellow gold faceted dart indexes and Roman half-hour numerals, subsidiary seconds and 30-minute register dials, outer seconds and fifths of a second divisions, Arabic five minute and seconds numerals. Yellow gold ?baton" hands. M. Cal. 434, rhodium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, beryllium balance with timing screws, selfcompensating Breguet balance-spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 34 mm. Thickness: 12 mm.
