Ref. 4072, Stainless Steel Two-Tone Dial Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 437639, case No. 275661, Ref. 4072. Made in 1945. Very fine and very rare stainless steel wristwatch with square button chronograph and two-tone dial, with an 18K white gold buckle. Accompanied by a wooden fitted box and a Certificate of Authenticity.
C. Three-body, polished and brushed, inclined bezel, concave lugs. D. Two-tone silver with applied steel baton indexes and Roman 6 and 12, subsidiary seconds and 30-minute register dials, outer minutes and fifths of a second divisions with Arabic five minute/seconds numerals. White gold baton hands. M. Cal. 13??? 434 chronographe, rhodium-plated, fausses-côtes decoration, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 34 mm. Thickness 12 mm.
