Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 397236, case No. 251049, 1920's. Extremely fine and rare 18ct gold gentleman's wristwatch, with single button chronograph and register.

C. massive, polished. D. mat silver decorated with volutes at the angles and painted Arabic numerals + auxiliary 30 minutes register and seconds dial. "Spade" blued steel hands. M. 13"', rhodiumed, 17 jewels, lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance-spring. The coaxial button on the winding-crown is for start-stop and return to zero functions of the chronograph.. Dial, case and movement signed. In very good condition. Dim: 33 x 33 mm.
