Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 455138, case No. 373261, Ref. 6448, 1940's. Extremely rare and fine large and flat minute repeater, 18-carat white gold gentleman's wristwatch, priviledged series limited to 30 pieces only, all sold in the 1940's, and few pieces in white gold and platinum.

M. 12rhodiumed, "fausses-côtes" decoration, 29 jewels, lever escapement, cut bimetaIIic balance adjusted to 5 positions to heat and cold, flat blued steel balance-spring. Repeating on gongs set by a slide on the band. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 37 mm.
