Chronomètre Royal Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, "Chronomètre Royal", No. 508985, case No. 349896, Ref. 4838. Made circa 1953. Very fine and rare, center-seconds, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with an 18K yellow gold Vacheron & Constantin buckle.

C. Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, inclined flat bezel, oversized straight lugs. D. Matte silver with applied yellow gold hexagonal faceted indexes, outer minute and seconds divisions. Yellow gold Alpha hands. M. Cal. P1008/BS, stamped with the Seal of Geneva Quality Mark, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, beryllium balance with timing screws, adjusted to temperatures, shock-absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator, hack mechanism. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 35 mm. Thickness: 10 mm.
