Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 345180. Made circa 1930. A rare and unusual helm-shaped, chrome desk clock on a wooden mount.
C. Circular chrome shaped as a helm, the top handle used as the winder and to set time, held in the wooden base by 2 screws. D. Silver with painted black Arabic numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds, blued steel épée hands. M. Cal. 20???, gilt brass, 8 jewels? wolf-tooth winding, cut bimetallic compensation balance, swan neck micrometric regulator. Dial, case and movement signed, movement and case numbered. Width 110 mm., height 40 mm.
