C. Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, hinged case within square carriage, hooded lugs, flat top crystal. D. Matte silver with applied yellow gold baton indexes, subsidiary seconds dial. Yellow gold dauphine hands. M. Cal. K 1001, rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, stamped with the Seal of Geneva quality mark, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance-spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 29 x 29 mm. Thickness 9 mm.

This wrist and desk watch was based on a patent originally registered by Verger, for a pocket watch. Vacheron Constantin took the basic idea and modernized it, resulting in a timepiece that is extremely practical, particularly for travelers.
