Yellow Gold ? Black Dial Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, movement No. 492958, case No. 319887, Ref. 4518. Made in 1951. Very fine and rare, square, 18K yellow gold wristwatch. Accompanied by a fitted box.
C. Two-body, solid, polished and brushed, stepped bezel and lugs, back secured by two screws. D. Black with guilloché chapter ring, applied yellow gold dart indexes and Arabic quarter-hour numerals, subsidiary seconds. Yellow gold baton hands. M. Cal. P453/3B, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, beryllium balance with timing screws, adjusted to temperatures, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, shock absorber, swan-neck micrometer regulator. Dial, case, and movement signed. Dim. 31 x 31 mm. Thickness: 9 mm.
