Four-body, "bassine", solid, polished, gold hinged cuvette with presentation inscription "Frank Gates Allen Moline Illinois- from his wife- Feb 14th, 1907", repeat slide and chronograph split button to the band. D. White enamel with Breguet numerals, outer minute track with five-seconds/minute Arabic markers, subsidiary seconds, 30-minute register at 12. Gilt spade hands. M. Cal. 17???, rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, 31 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, adjusted cut bimetallic balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micro-regulation Case, dial and movement signed.
