Notes

This very fine dress watch has a very heavy platinum case (3.24 ounces) with applied relief gold figures in the ancient Greek style. This is one of two known designs in the series, another very similar watch with a different scene of Pan on the back is illustrated in ?The World of Vacheron & Constantin?, Lambelet & Coen, 1992, p. 306.
