C. Two-body, transparent case back, straight lugs, stepped bezel, correctors to the band, large thin slide, sapphire crystals, numbered 1/1 between the lugs at 6. D. Silvered gold, radial Roman indexes, outer minute track, vertical guilloche, 48 month subdial with leap year indication, day and date subdials, engraved white gold moon phases. M. Cal. 1755 QP, rhodium-plated German silver, cotes de Geneve decoration, 30 jewels, perpetual calendar and moonphases, straight-line lever escapement, beryllium balance, shock absorber, flat balance spring, swan-neck regulator, repeater on gongs by means of a slide on the band. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 40 mm. Thickness: 11 mm.

Notes

In 2002 Vacheron & Constantin made 3 unique watches for the luxury jeweler DeBoulle of Dallas, one platinum, one yellow gold and one pink gold. The watches all had minute repeating perpetual calendar functions in a 40 mm diameter 'Patrimony' design case with straight lugs and Roman numeral dials. This example offered is the platinum version manufactured and offers a unique, attractive design, with the combination of guilloche silvered Roman dial, white gold hand engraved moon phase and 40 mm case with straight lugs working surprisingly well together.
Vacheron & Constantin produced two similar minute-repeating perpetual calendar wristwatches; Ref.30020, made circa 2000 in a 37 mm case with tear-drop lugs, the plain dials featuring baton indexes and a regular blue/gold moon phase. Ref.30040, made circa 2007 in a limited edition of 30 examples in rose gold only, the case was a 40 mm diameter 'Malta' with flared and stepped lugs, the dials were guilloche with Roman numerals using regular blue/gold moon phases.
