Vacheron & Constantin, Geneve, movement No. 499755, case No. 333278. Made in the 1950's. Very fine and rare, 18K yellow gold wristwatch.
C. Three body, solid, polished and brushed, ?crab? lugs, inverted bezel, snap-on case back. D. Guilloche silver with applied yellow gold dot, dart indexes and Arabic quarters, subsidiary dial for the seconds, outer engraved dot minute division on a plain reserve. Yellow gold baton hands. M. Cal. P453/38, rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperatures, shock absorber self-compensating Breguet balance spring, swan-neck regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 36 mm. Thickness 9 mm.
