VACHERON & CONSTANTIN TRIPLE CALENDAR Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, movement No. 465588, case No. 318575. Made in 1949. Exceptionally fine and very rare, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with claw lugs, triple date calendar and moon phases, on an 18k gold buckle.

C. Two-body, solid, polished, overhanging large claw lugs, inclined bezel, concave band, snap-on back. D. Two-tone, brushed silver with applied alternate yellow gold baton indexes and Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial, outer blue graduation for the days of the month, outermost black minute track, apertures for the days of the week, the months and the moon phases. Yellow gold baton hands. M. Cal. V 485, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, beryllium balance with timing screws adjusted to temperatures, shock absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator. Dial, case, and movement signed. Diam. 33 mm. Thickness 11.5 mm.
