Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 471538, case No. 307276. Produced circa 1946. Very fine and rare, square, platinum and diamond gentleman's wristwatch.
C. two-body, solid, polished and brushed, fluted flame-shaped overhanging lugs. D. black with round and baguette diamond-set indexes, auxiliary seconds dial. "Epée" white gold hands. M. Cal. 458, rhodium-plated, ?fausses côtes? decoration, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperatures, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 25 x 37 mm.
