VACHERON & CONSTANTIN ROYAL CHRONOMETER AUTOMATIC, GOLD Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, "Royal Chronometer Automatic", movement No. 618710, case No. 427545, Ref. 7375. Made circa 1971. Very fine and rare, center-seconds, self-winding, waterresistant, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with date and an 18K yellow gold Vacheron & Constantin bracelet.

C. Two-body, solid, brushed, screw-down case back. D. Satine gold with applied yellow gold and black faceted indexes, aperture for the date. Black and yellow gold baton hands. M. Cal. 1072/1, stamped twice with the seal of Geneva Quality mark, rhodium-plated, oeil-de-perdrix and fausses côtes decoration, 29 jewels, straight line lever escapement, Gyromax balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balance spring, 18K gold engine-turned rotor segment. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 40 x 36 mm. Thickness 11 mm. Approx. overall length 190 mm.
