Notes

A rare example of the reference 4838 in pink gold. Vacheron & Constantin registered the name ?Chronomètre Royal? on May 28, 1907. The first of these were a series of pocket watches delivered to Brazil. Production of the Chronomètre Royal continued in wristwatch form until the 1970s. The main difference between this model of Chronomètre Royal and the standard production of Vacheron Constantin was the hacking seconds hand, which allows the wearer to set the time precisely by stopping the seconds hand when the crown is in the hand-set position.
