Notes

This watch was coverted from a pendant watch in the Vacheron & Constantin workshops in the 1920s. The dial is of V&C manufacture with the signature at 3 o?clock and seconds at 9 rather than 6, therefore specially made for a wristwatch whilst accomodating the movement layout of the former pendant watch.
A watch with identical dial and signature dating from 1929 is illustrated in : The World of Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, Lambelet & Coen, 1992, p. 406.
