VACHERON & CONSTANTIN CHRONOMETER ROYAL YELLOW GOLD Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, Chronomètre Royal, No. 508943, case No. 347638. Made in 1953. Very fine and rare, tonneau-shaped, indirect center seconds, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with an 18K yellow gold Vacheron & Constantin buckle.

C. Three-body, solid, polished, inclined bezel, screw-down case back, concave lugs. D. Matte silver with applied yellow gold hexagonal faceted indexes, outer minute and seconds divisions. Yellow gold Alpha hands. M. Cal. P1008/BS, stamped with the Seal of Geneva quality mark, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, beryllium balance with timing screws, adjusted to temperatures, shock absorber, selfcompensating Breguet balance spring, swan neck micrometer regulator, hack mechanism. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 35 mm. Thickness: 10 mm.
