VACHERON & CONSTANTIN MINUTE REPEATER CHRONOGRAPH Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 333977, case No. 202904. Made circa 1918. Very fine and rare, keyless, minute repeating, 18K yellow gold pocket Chronometer with chronograph and 30-minute register. Accompanied by the original fitted box.

Four-body, "bassine", polished. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel with painted Breguet numerals, outer minute track and 1/5th seconds chronograph divisions with 5-second red Arabic markers, subsidiary dials for the seconds at 6 and 30-minute register dial at 12. Gold spade hands. Cal. R.A. 20''', frosted gilt, bar caliber, 35 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan- neck micrometric regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide in the band. Dial, case and movement signed.
