VACHERON & CONSTANTIN MINUTE REPEATING HUNTING CASED WATCH Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, "Chronomètre", No. 336671, case No. 212909. Made circa 1905. Very fine and rare, large, minute-repeating, 18K yellow gold and enamel, hunting cased keyless pocket watch.

Four-body, "bassine", polished, the front cover with red and blue champlevé enamel monogram beneath a Vicomte's coronet. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel with Arabic numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Yellow gold spade hands. Cal. 19''', matte gilt, 31 jewels, wolf's tooth winding, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band.
