Notes

Successeurs, movement signed Veuve C. Vacheron & Cie. DIAM. 53 mm. The present watch is an unusually fine and complicated example by Vacheron Constantin/Veuve C. Vacheron and in excellent condition. Veuve C. Vacheron is the signature the company used between 1870 and 1887. This watch is therefore relatively late in production under the Veuve C. Vacheron & Co. name as it is signed also by Vacheron & Constantin and therefore must date from the transitional period of the two company names.
