Notes

For over 200 years, Hausmann has told time in Rome. Founded in 1794 by Ernst Hausmann, a young German clockmaker who, along with his friend and partner Hermann Frielingsdorf, gave its patent letters of nobility to the art of clockmaking in Rome. Situated in the city's historical center, Hausmann still inhabits the same elegant premises they moved to in 1891. The firm represents the most prestigious name in clocks and watches. It is responsible for the maintenance of the precious clocks in the drwing-rooms and apartments of the Vatican.
