18K yellow gold, hunting-case, keyless-winding, round-shaped, pocket watch, with subsidiary seconds at 6, made for the American market. Cover and case-back engraved in taille-douce (fine-cut); on the case-back, a heron; on the cover, inside an escutcheon, the cypher “N R T”; case-band guilloché (engine-turned). White enamel dial with suspended fancy Arabic numerals. Movement 20’’’, rhodium-plated, going barrel, straight-line equilibrated lever escapement, à moustaches, cut bimetallic compensated balance with gold poising screws, patented index regulator with micrometric screw, adjusted; protected inside a soft iron ring against magnetic fields.
