18K yellow gold, open-face, key-winding, round-shaped, large pocket watch, with subsidiary seconds at 6.
Guilloché (engine-turned) case-back, with, in the centre, a circle; chiselled bezels; fluted case-band; cuvette (dome) engraved in taille-douce (fine-cut) with technical specifications.
Inside case back engraved in taille-douce (fine-cut) with the mentions “Elsey Davis Thwing. / 1824. / Henry Bartlett. / 1844. / Anna S. Everett. / July 20. 1872. / Annie Haven Thwing. / 1905.”.
Silver colour dial with radial Roman numerals; yellow gold “Pear” hands.
Movement 20’’’, gilded brass, going barrel, lateral lever escapement, monometallic balance (gilded brass) and blued steel flat hairspring, polished steel and blued steel index-regulator with temperature compensating bimetallic curb and pare-chute; the main-plate stamped with the eagle “V & C” early logo.
