Silver and white onyx, key-winding, “Rococo”, miniature table clock, in the shape of a “Louis XV” mantel clock, with subsidiary seconds at 6.
The facade of the cabinet is decorated with knots and foliage set with coloured rhinestones, on a Royal blue enamel background; on the lower part, an oval medallion painted in polychrome on enamel, in a gilded silver frame, representing a couple of lovers (a gallant scene in the style of Watteau, Boucher or Fragonard). On the base, a silver metal plate with the words “Que ces heures vous soient toutes heureuses” (May these hours be happy ones for you all).
White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals; blued steel “Breguet” hands.
Movement 14’’’, gilded brass, going barrel, lateral lever escapement, monometallic balance (gilded metal) and blued steel flat hairspring, polished steel index-regulator.
