Vacheron & Constantin, Genève Automatic, No. 494676, case No. 322841. Produced at the end of the 1940's. Fine center-seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch with an 18K yellow gold tiled bracelet.

C. two-body, solid, polished, screwed-down case back, rounded band and bezel, overhanging fluted lugs. D. two-tone silver with applied yellow gold Roman numerals and dart indexes. "Bâton" yellow gold hands. M. Cal. 477/1, rhodium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperatures, shock-absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring, rotor "à butoirs". Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 35 mm. Approx. overall lengh 190 mm.
