Bras-en-L'air Vacheron & Constantin, No. 409422, case made by Verger, France, No. 12315, in 1929. Very fine and rare 18K two-colored, Art-Deco keyless "bras-en-l'air" dress watch.
C. Three piece, "Empire", white gold, polished and matte, yellow gold rims and bow. Matching black silk and bicolored gold Albert. D. Silver, matte, with an applied figure of a seated Chinese Mandarin, pointing to the hours and minutes with his arms when a push piece in the band is depressed. M. 37 mm. (16 1/5'''), rhodium-plated, 18 jewels, eight adjustments, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with Breguet balance spring.Signed on the movement, Verger master mark on the case.Diam. 45 mm.
