Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 470031, case No. 356389, Ref. 4178. Produced circa 1946. Very fine and rare 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch with square button chronograph, register, tachometer and telemeter.
C. three-body, solid, polished, rounded band, teardrop lapidated lugs. D. two-tone silver with applied gold indexes and Arabic numerals, "guilloché" auxiliary seconds and 30 minute register dials, outer tachometer and telemeter graduations. "Bâton" yellow gold hands. M. Cal. 492, rhodiumed, "fausses côtes" decoration, 19 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperatures, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring.Dial, case and movement signed.Diam. 35 mm.
