Notes

According to the Vacheron Constantin archives, ten water-resistant chronographs with screwed-down back were produced in 1954, and another ten over the following years. To date, only a few examples in yellow gold are known, as well as two in platinum, which were cased in the 1990s.This watch was sold by Antiquorum in the “Art of Vacheron Constantin” sale, November 13, 1994, lot 227.
