Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, "Automatic", No. 506011, case No. 343266, Ref. 4737. Produced circa 1952. Extremely fine and rare, "carré galbé", large, center second, self-winding, 18K pink gold gentleman's wristwatch with a pink gold plated buckle.
C. two-body, curved, solid, polished, stepped bezel, rounded lugs, domed thick crystal. D. satine silver with applied pink gold pyramidal and triangular indexes. Pink gold "Baton" hands. M. Cal. P 499, rhodium-plated, “fausses-côtes” decoration, 21 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperatures, shock-absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring, micrometric regulator, maillechort rotor.Dial, case and movement signed.Dim. 36 x 43 mm.
