Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 427219, case No. 267402. Produced circa 1939. Very fine and rare, rectangular, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch with an 18K yellow gold Vacheron Constantin bracelet "a petites mailles".
C. two-body, solid, polished and brushed, truncated pyramid-shaped concave sides, hooded lugs, "bombe" thick crystal. D. bicolored, matte gold with applied yellow gold Arabic numerals and baton indexes on a matte silver reserve, auxiliary seconds dial. Yellow gold "Lozenge" hands. M. Cal. 203, rhodium-plated, ?fausses cotes? decoration, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating flatbalance-spring.Dial, case and movement signed.Dim. 22 x 36 mm.
