Vacheron & Constantin, Geneve, No. 495622, case No. 336773, Ref. 4724. Produced and sold in 1953. Very fine and unusual large, 18K yellow gold gentleman's center seconds wristwatch. Accompanied by a certificate.
C. three-body, heavy, polished, flat bezel, straight and curved lugs. D. "guilloche" silver, vertical line at the center, two circular extermal lines, with applied gold lozenge indexes and Arabic numerals. Yellow gold "Baton" hands. M. Cal. 454, rhodium-plated, ?fausses cotes? decoration, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperatures, shock-absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring, micrometric regulator.Dial, case and movement signed.Diam. 37 mm.
