Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 634023, case No. 477252, Ref. 6510. Produced in the 1970s. Very fine, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch fitted into a 20 U.S. dollar gold coin dated 1904.
C. Four-body, solid, polished, straight lugs, on one side, the American Eagle, the shield and the mottos "E Pluribus Unum" and "In God we Trust", on the other, the effigy of Liberty, the coin opening through a pushpiece in the reeded band.D. Champagne with painted indexes. Blued steel "bâton" hands. M. Cal. 1003, stamped with the Geneva Quality Hallmark, rhodium-plated,"fausses côtes" decoration, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, self-compensating flat balance-spring.Dial, case and movement signed.Diam. 34 mm.
