Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 416624, case No. 259146. Manufactured circa 1935. Extremely fine and rare, rectangular curved, stainless steel "Staybrite" and 18K pink gold gentleman's wristwatch. Accompanied by an Extract from the Archives.
C. three-body, two-tone, polished, dedicated case back, pink gold applied sides and lugs, lapidated steel bezel, domed crystal. D. two-tone silver and pink gold with painted Arabic numerals and an outer pink gold painted filet. Pink gold "Epee" hands. M. Cal. 9''', rhodium-plated, 15jewels, lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance adjusted to temperatures and 3 positions, flat balance-spring.Dial, case and movement signed.Engraved on the case back: "Erka Allgoth pa 50 arsdagen 19 14/9 36 - fran vänner".Dim. 24 x 37 mm.
