Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 463979, case No. 334184. Produced in the 1940s. Very fine and rare, astronomic, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch with triple date and moon phases. Accompanied by a fitted box.
C. Two-body, solid, polished, teardrop lugs. D. Matte silver with applied yellow gold Arabic numerals and bâton indexes, subsidiary seconds dial, outer graduation for the days of the month, apertures for the days of the week, the months and the moon phases. Yellow gold "bâton" hands.M. Cal. V 495, rhodium plated, "fausses-côtes" decoration, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperatures, shock-absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring, micrometer regulator.
