Montre de Tir Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 315477, case No. 190490, circa 1900. Fine 18K gold and painted on enamel pendant watch, a prize in the Swiss Shooting Contest held in Lucerne in 1901, in original fitted box.
C. Four-body, ?bassine et filets? with concave bezels, back painted on enamel with an Alpine scene, gold flowers below, reeded bezel edges, gold hinged cuvette engraved with the Montr de Tir inscription. D. Off-white, blue Breguet numerals, outer minute gold paillon dot divisions. Gold ?spade? hands.M. 25 mm (11'''), frosted gilt, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with flat balance spring.Signed on dial, case and movement.Diam. 30 mm.
