Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, ?Chronomètre?, No. 452050, case No. 284763. Made in 1947 and sold to H. V. Janson. Very fine silver-cased keyless desk and pocket lever chronometer with 32-hour power reserve indication, Guillaume balance and fitted deck box. Accompanied by the outer transport box and a Certificate of Authenticity.
C. Four-body, "bassine", polished, silver, hinged cuvette. D. Silver, champlevé Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions, up-and-down sector at 12 o?clock, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. Cal. 21??? 162, rhodium plated, "fausses-côtes" decoration, 20 jewels, straight line lever escapement, anibal-brass Guillaume balance with gold timing screws, Breguet balance spring, "swan-neck" micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 60 mm.
