“Chinoiserie” Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, movement No. 391677, delivered in 1927. Case by Verger Frères, No. 6847. Elegant and rare, thin, Art Deco, 18K gold, red and black lacquer, lobed keyless dress watch. Accompanied by a Certficate of Authenticity.

C. Three-piece, square with lobed corners, red lacquered back with stylized flowering bough, black lacqueredband and pendant with “chinoiserie” decoration, red lacquered bezel, pearl winding crown. D. Gilt, brushed, withstylized Arabic numerals, outer dot minute divisions. Blued steel “Breguet” hands. M. Cal. 16’’’ 162, rhodiumplated, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, eight adjustments, flat balance spring,index regulator.Movement signed Vacheron & Constantin, case punched Verger Frères.Dim. 42 x 42 mm.
