So Called ?Devil? Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 504167, case No. 335830, Ref. 4895. Made circa 1950. Very fine and rare, centre-seconds 18K yellow gold gentleman?s wristwatch.
C. Two-body, solid, polished overhanging horn lugs with reeded central section, back with dedication inscription.D. Matte silver with applied yellow gold dart indexes and Arabic quarters, outer dot minute divisions. Yellow gold?bâton? hands. M. Cal. 9??? 1002, rhodium-plated, "fausses-côtes" decoration, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement,beryllium balance with timing screws adjusted to temperatures, self-compensating flat balance-spring.Dial, case and movement signed.Diam. 31 mm. Thickness 8 mm.
