Vacheron & Constantin a Geneve, No. 16611, made in 1823. Fine silver quarter repeating watch.
C. Four body, "forme quatre baguettes", polished with reeded band. Hinged gilt brass cuvette. D. White enamel with Breguet numerals. Blue-steel " scoties" hands. M. Gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass threearm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock pierced and engraved with the letters: "V.A.C.H.E.R.O.N. & C.", polished steel end-piece. Repeating on gongs by depressing the pendant. Signed on the dial, cuvette and back plate. Diam. 56 mm.
