Vacheron & Constantin, Geneve, "Chronometre Royal" No. 357653, case No. 204402, circa 1911. Fine 18K gold and enamel, keyless watch, in original brown leather fitted box.
C. Four body, massive, "bassine pincee", the bezel chased with foliage decoration, the back with chased floral decoration over a mauve ground. Hinged gold cuvette. D. Matted silver, engine-turned with Arabic numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued-steel "spade" hands. M. 16"', gilt brass, 19 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Signed on the dial, case and movement. Diam. 47 mm.
