"Royal Chronometer Automatic" Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, "Royal Chronometer Automatic", No. 630242, case No. 450419, Ref. 6694. Made in the 1960s. Very fine and rare, center-seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, 18K white gold gentleman's wristwatch with date and an 18K white gold Vacheron & Constantin buckle.
C. Two-body, solid, polished, screwed-down case back, horn lugs. D. Matte silver with applied white gold and black faceted indexes, aperture for the date. White gold ?bâton? hands. M. Cal. 1072/1, stamped with the Geneva Quality Hallmark, rhodium-plated, "oeil-de-perdrix" and ?fausses côtes? decoration, 29 jewels, straight line lever escapement, Gyromax balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, shockabsorber, self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balancespring, 18K gold engine-turned rotor segment. Dial, case, and movement signed. Diam. 35 mm. Thickness 12 mm.
