Inspired from the minute-repeaters made in the 1940's, Vacheron Constantin launched a new series in 1991 based on caliber 1755. While only 200 calibers in total were made, only 50 calibers were made in a skekletonized versions. Each made in a limited edition series, these were available in either rose gold or platinum. It is truly exceptional to have 3 of these examples, all skeletonized in one sale (for the platinum version see lot 227 and the second rose gold see lot 536)
