Notes

This chronograph was one of Vacheron Constantin's greatest successes. It was offered with various types of dial during the two decades of its production (1940-1960), though the classic lines of its case remained unchanged. Similar watches were sold during the Antiquorum's auction devoted to the world's oldest watch manufacturer - The Quarter Millennium of Vacheron Constantin, 1755-2005 (Geneva, April 3, 2005; 250 lots), lots 155 (in pink gold), 194 (in yellow gold with pulsometric scale), 195-196 (in yellow gold) and 235 (in yellow gold with pulsometric scale).
