VACHERON CONSTANTIN REF. 6394 WHITE GOLD Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, "Automatic", No. 587850, case No. 429819, Ref. 6394 Q. Made circa 1965. Very fine and extremely rare, center-seconds, self-winding, water- resistant 18K white gold wristwatch with date.
Two-body, solid, polished inclined bezel, linen-textured band and lugs, screw-down case back, recessed crown. Satine silver, with applied white gold and black baton indexes, white gold-rimmed aperture for the date. White gold and black baton hands. Cal. K1072/1, stamped with the Seal of Geneva quality mark, rhodium-plated, fausses côtes decoration, 29 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, beryllium gyromax balance with timing nuts adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, 18K gold-edged rotor with ruby rollers.
